Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable store leadership team member in Overland, MO. You will be responsible for coaching crew, managing daily store operations, and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

As Manager on Duty when needed, you will secure cash, manage alarms, and coordinate opening/closing procedures while driving sales and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures effective performance and excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash handling, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
