Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team. You will lead department managers and receivers, ensuring superior customer service and adherence to safety, labeling, and weights-and-measures standards.

You will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to hit targets, coach leaders, and maintain compliance in a fast-paced environment while upholding Sprouts values and delivering

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience or combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading perishable/non-perishable operations with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Strong written and spoken communication with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety certification required.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and push/pull heavy loads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations and drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of ~ten, including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Develop leadership and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee days-to-day store programs, training, and performance feedback.
• Address emergencies and resolve issues with urgency.
• Oversee invoicing, backroom organization, and displays.
• Keep product fresh, labeled, and correctly priced.
