Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Fort Collins, CO seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a 10-person department team, drive performance, and ensure top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include coaching leaders, maintaining product standards, and executing in-store initiatives to meet budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain food safety certification.
• Experience leading retail departments with P&L, safety, and merchandising responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with detail-oriented, analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR software; able to manage time and attendance.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays; able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Shape store culture by modeling Sprouts values and leading by example.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead a team of ~10: department managers and receivers, with fair, respectful supervision.
• Maintain inventory integrity, schedule labor, and manage expenses to meet targets.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with regulations; address issues with urgency.
• Drive sales growth through education and product knowledge across departments.
• Oversee backroom organization, displays, pricing, and product labeling.
