Job summary

ALDI De Pere, WI is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales growth, control expenses, and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the store manager, you will lead teams, develop personnel, conduct interviews, plan schedules, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Starting wage is $25.50 per hour with increases to $26.50 in year two; 38 hours per week, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns with the store manager.
• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to store personnel in conjunction with the store manager; leads and develops staff.
• Assists in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Leads store tours during interview events and provides hiring recommendations to the store manager.
• Ensures schedules, expenses, inventory procedures, and cash handling policies are followed.
