Job summary

ALDI Salem, NH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store leader in day-to-day operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and drive store performance. You will help develop operational action plans and identify training opportunities to grow the team.

This full-time role averages 38 hours per week with starting wage $26.50 per hour and a wage increase to $27.50 in year two. Candidates should have retail experience, strong communication, and a commitment to executing ALDI’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance performance of team.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage at all times.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
