Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and implement action plans for better performance. You will help develop the team, monitor inventory and cash controls, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Beginning at $26.50/hour with a wage increase to $27.50 after Year 2, this full-time role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills and a commitment to ALDI's standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience
• Prior management experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve store results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training and development opportunities for staff to improve performance
• Maintain store standards, inventory procedures, and cash controls
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and hiring decisions
• Ensure customer service excellence and safe, clean store conditions
