Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the general manager run daily store operations and enforce company policies. You’ll supervise hourly staff, handle cash and inventory, and perform payroll and banking duties as needed.

This role requires flexibility, reliable transportation, and communication skills. It offers a path to growth within a Fortune 500 company with a long-standing community presence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages up to $100.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and related admin duties.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store image standards and cleanliness.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report safety/environment issues.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and participate in promotions.
• Support guest service and company policies as needed.
