Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership professional to lead and develop teams, train associates, and apply the One Best Way service model to enhance the customer experience. You will drive store performance through budgeting, forecasting, and expense control while ensuring high standards of integrity and inclusion.

You will hire and mentor hourly staff, promote a culture of belonging, and coordinate with stakeholders to execute business plans.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Models exceptional customer service standards to store associates by promoting the One Best Way service model and handling customer needs and issues.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring and assigning duties.
