Job summary

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the store and escalate issues as needed
• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members
• Model ALDI core values and maintain team cohesion
• Monitor competitive environment and advise on adjustments to maintain position
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
• Maintain stock levels through appropriate product ordering
• Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure freshness and signage accuracy
• Assist with payroll, loss budgets, inventory counts, and training new employees
• Ensure timely completion of responsibilities to deliver high levels of customer service
• Uphold company policies and data security
