Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees in compliance with federal/state labor laws and company policies.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for counseling or termination.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings to reinforce policies.
• Ensure store is properly staffed and opened/closed each day.
• Personally open the store at least twice weekly and close at least twice weekly.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify business trends, expenses and inventory issues.
• Order to meet or exceed in-stock targets; review ordering plan and cycle counts.
• Maintain merchandising presentation and pricing according to standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash control procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment.
• Follow SOPs and paperwork deadlines.
