• Experience with cash register functions and generating reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage teams and supervise staff performance.
• Familiarity with company security practices and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure staffing levels.
• Provide proper training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel staff as needed.
• Advise on pay rate and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate safety expectations and coordinate safety meetings.
• Open/close store and manage daily operations.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and turnover to identify trends.
• Oversee ordering to meet stock targets and manage stock counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage follow standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory through controls and reporting.
• Uphold cash control procedures and cashier accountability.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership.
• Keep store clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Ensure proper tools and equipment are available.
• Adhere to SOPs, handbook, and communications; complete paperwork on time.
