Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire and counsel staff while ensuring legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training, evaluate performance, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicate performance expectations and conduct safety briefings.
• Open and close the store properly each day.
• Monitor sales, inventory, and expenses to identify trends.
• Ensure in-stock levels via ordering and cycle counts.
• Present merchandise per company standards and manage pricing/signage.
• Maintain cash controls and secure cash handling procedures.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and a clean store environment.
