Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure staffing.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; counsels or terminates as needed.
• Manages store operations including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and safety initiatives.
• Ensures proper opening/closing and staffing consistency throughout the week.
• Analyzes operating statements for sales, profitability, and shrink; seeks improvements.
• Oversees inventory planning, BSR; follows up on replenishment and cycle counts.
• Ensures merchandise is presented per guidelines with pricing and signage.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through controls and cash handling procedures.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and maintains a clean, safe store environment.
