Job summary

Thinklance LLP in Pasadena, CA seeks a dynamic retail leadership intern for a paid 40-hour/week program at Target stores. You will work with managers and team members to learn Target’s retail business and management roles, while driving guest experience and store performance.

You will spend time on the sales floor and backroom, lead daily huddles, and mentor teams to achieve daily goals, with supervision and feedback from leaders.

Qualifications

• Interest in retail management within stores.
• Strong interpersonal and guest-service orientation.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in retail is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a retail team within a Target store as part of a paid 40-hour/week internship program preparing for store leadership.
• Drive guest experience and impact store financial, team, and operational performance.
• Lead daily huddles and plan daily goals and organizational plans.
• Review business reports and guest insights to identify and act on opportunities.
• Provide new ideas and recommend solutions to business or team challenges.
• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning on daily priorities.
• Partner with leaders on team member performance through coaching and feedback.
• Address team concerns and remove hurdles for smooth operations.
