Meijer Inc. is offering an 11-week Store Leadership Internship designed for current bachelor’s degree students. Interns will lead team members, drive store performance, and gain exposure to leadership rotations and development programs.

The program emphasizes real projects, executive presentations, and networking with senior leaders. Interns may transition to full-time roles, with potential for leadership opportunities and a focus on retail knowledge and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experiential internship designed for business-minded undergrads.
• Ability to work flexible shifts during the program.
• Prior retail exposure is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team activities in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to deliver excellent service.
• Drive sales and maintain store presentation to Meijer standards.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the work environment.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.
• Support leadership and cross-functional collaboration during shifts.
