Job summary

Jacksons in Tigard, OR is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to gain hands-on experience in store operations, sales growth, and team development. You will help control expenses, reduce losses, and oversee merchandising and inventory while advancing toward a managerial role.

The role requires leadership, excellent customer service, and the ability to work a 24/7 schedule. Pay starts at $19.50 per hour with full benefits and opportunities for promotion within the company.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising teams in retail or food service.
• Three months of customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and a friendly, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service and greet customers.
• Follow and enforce company policies with employees.
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling/storage.
• Keep interior/exterior areas clean and stocked.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Support in managing food service programs to maximize sales and minimize losses.
• Respond to emergencies when the Store Manager is unavailable.
