Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will act as manager on duty when the Store Manager is away and supervise scheduling, training, and performance coaching for the team.

You’ll recruit and train associates, uphold visual and merchandising standards, manage cash and inventories, and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment that aligns with Lids brand values and policies.

Qualifications

• Evidence of ability to drive sales while controlling loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of working unsupervised and taking initiative.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling and operations when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Lead, train, and coach store associates using LIDS training programs.
• Recruit and onboard new team members and monitor performance.
• Ensure customer service excellence and achievement of KPIs.
• Maintain cash handling, inventories, and store compliance.
