Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will supervise team members, manage scheduling, training, and discipline in the absence of the Store Manager, and ensure adherence to company policies and inventory control. This role emphasizes leadership, in-store experiences, and performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun, productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policy, protect inventory, funds and property.
