Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the heart of the store operations, delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team through daily tasks, training, and performance management.

You will drive sales, ensure proper merchandising, and uphold brand standards while fostering an engaging, inclusive store environment. The role reports to the Store Manager and participates in store-level operations.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting with regular follow up.
• Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings in the manager's absence.
• Create a fun, productive environment and ensure adherence to company policies and brand standards.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and recruitment/training to ensure proper store coverage.
