Job summary

Five Below is looking for an experienced store leader to oversee daily operations, greet customers, train crew, and act as Manager on Duty. You will help open/close the store, manage cash handling, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, one year of management experience, and strong communication. College experience preferred. This hourly position offers starting pay at $11.50 and opportunities to grow with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred for advancement.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers through personal contact and exceptional service.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor ready for sale.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and World Recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
