Job summary

HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Key Carrier who will step into a leadership role, support a seamless store operation, and model exceptional customer service. The role alternates with Coordinator duties and requires open availability, including nights and weekends.

You will coach Associates, maintain store procedures, and help drive safety, policy adherence, and inventory accuracy while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months leadership experience
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates priorities and progress updates with management and Associates
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
