Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Store Leader to supervise daily sales-floor operations, oversee staff, and drive performance across budgeted goals. The role emphasizes strong customer service, training, and collaboration with store teams and community partners.

The position requires at least one year in retail management and one year in customer service, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Eligibility for benefits includes a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
• One-year customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the day-to-day operations of the sales floor at a Retail Store location.
• Assists with leading production room as appropriate.
• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve goals for income, revenue, and production.
• Monitors product levels daily to meet sales targets.
• Manages payroll and operating costs to budget.
• Delivers excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• De-escalates customer situations and finds solutions.
• Keeps store clean, well-kept and reflecting the Goodwill brand.
• Partners with community businesses to promote Goodwill mission.
• Serves as a Goodwill ambassador to the community.
• Leads the day-to-day operations of the sales floor and trains staff.
• Acts as key holder, closing shift manager, and backup to Store Manager.
• Processes complex sales transactions, including returns.
• Travels to other GCNA locations as needed for coverage and training.
