Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store leadership professional in the United States. The role involves supervising the team, implementing plans to improve results, and ensuring store standards, inventory, and customer service.

You will lead by example, coordinate training for direct reports, monitor the competitive environment, and participate in hiring while maintaining store cleanliness and product presentation. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred along with 3+ years in retail.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed for this role at ALDI
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Basic cash handling and store operations knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports
• Model company values and maintain teamwork among employees
• Monitor competitive environment and inform leadership of adjustments
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed
• Resolve customer concerns in the leader's absence
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage, and proper stock levels
• Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure freshness and signage accuracy
• Assist with payroll, loss prevention, inventory counts, and training new employees
• Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues as needed
