Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Store Leader to build and guide high-performing teams, coach associates, and align store operations with company direction.

You will tour stores, provide feedback, and drive change initiatives while delivering exceptional customer service through the One Best Way. You will manage profit and loss, budgeting, inventory flow, merchandising, and cost controls to meet sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and training may be required.
• Attending and completing required trainings (e.g., Academy, Open Door) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams through training and feedback, aligning with store operations and company initiatives.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing/forecasting PL, budgeting and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer service excellence and implement action plans to improve processes.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor hourly associates; set clear expectations and promote belonging.
