Job summary

rag & bone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Newport Beach. This role is a vital part of the store leadership team, driving customer experiences, operations, and employee development across the team. The position emphasizes coaching, policy execution, and collaboration to deliver best-in-class service.

The role includes active participation in staffing, payroll integrity, and scheduling, with opportunities to influence product presentation and business plans in line with brand philosophy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in specialty retail with 1+ years in a management role.
• Be original, be authentic.
• Ability to coach and develop supervisors and associates.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques, build customer loyalty through clienteling standards and sales interactions.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform and train staff on store operations tasks from register to stock room.
• Ensure payroll procedures and store scheduling are accurate and timely.
• Delegate to ensure efficiency of store operations and develop team members.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff.
• Identify and execute store business plans to drive performance and opportunities.
• Analyze sales reports to determine business needs and set strategies to achieve goals.
