Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and guide the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales growth and coach team members across customer operations, merchandising and talent development.

Collaborating with the General Manager, you will teach leadership behaviors to leads and associates to maintain high performance, while ensuring store strategy execution and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
