Job summary

The Children's Place in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by managing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD).

The Store Lead will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development. Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, payroll, and helping drive store profitability while maintaining a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through the training of associates and in-the-moment coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Motivate staff to build brand loyalty and strong customer service.
• Lead on Duty program to drive store profitability and manage payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and ensure store safety standards.
