Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules and manuals.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems and manage various situations.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations, and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly.
• Ensures store opens and closes at required frequency and maintains staffing.
• Monitors sales, profitability, and inventory to identify trends and control costs.
• Oversees stock replenishment, ordering plans, and cycle counts.
• Ensures merchandise presentation and signage meet standards.
• Maintains accurate inventory and cash controls.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and a safe store environment.
• Keeps store clean, organized, and properly equipped.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and paperwork deadlines.
