Job summary

The Children’s Place in Grand Prairie, Texas is hiring a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing duties, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates, including coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during annual reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and positive store environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor and maintain brand standards.
• Represent the company professionally and positively.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operational and product knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty program to drive store profitability and manage payroll.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
