Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive daily store performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced retail setting. You will lead a team, handle scheduling, training, and policy adherence while delivering the Lids customer experience across product categories.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will use your leadership, sales skills, and merchandising expertise to optimize store operations and achieve KPIs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through LIDS training programs and goal setting with regular follow up.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and funds.
• Drive selling strategy to achieve KPIs and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and signage per guidelines.
• Manage cash handling and daily till reconciliation; support inventory audits.
