Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a strong Store Manager to lead daily operations, ensure outstanding pet parent service, and drive safety and efficiency across the store. You will shape a culture of teamwork, coach associates, and address daily challenges with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 4–6 years of retail leadership and a commitment to keeping our store running smoothly, while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of retail leadership or experience in a customer‑focused environment.
• Full‑time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store leadership team and oversees safety, pet care, and customer experience.
• Manages staffing and scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews as part of associate development.
• Drives profitability by delivering store P&L targets and executing operational plans.
• Ensures policies, procedures, and ethics are followed, and coordinates with leadership on store initiatives.
