Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced retail setting. The Store Manager will drive sales, ensure exceptional customer service, and supervise staff to deliver a premier fan experience.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage schedules, payroll, and inventory while maintaining store standards and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
• Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Proven managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and customer service excellence.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations to make it right.
• Direct in-store team to ensure efficient operations and service.
• Promote store memberships and special offers through staff education.
• Manage scheduling and payroll compliance, align with policies and budgets.
• Plan and manage store schedule based on qualifications and availability.
• Maintain store facilities, cash handling, and security practices.
• Oversee inventory and vendor relations to ensure product integrity.
