Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Irvine, CA to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage staff, train team members, and ensure adherence to store policies while maintaining a fun and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, merchandising, and executing Lids’ selling strategies to meet KPIs, with a focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and regular follow-ups.
• Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines including inventory, funds, and property.
• Lead the selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
