Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baton Rouge to lead daily store operations, coach the sales team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The role emphasizes scheduling, training, and adherence to brand standards to drive performance and profitability.

As a key leader, you will execute selling strategies, manage operations, and mentor team members while upholding our values and delivering engaging, inclusive customer service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Supervise store associates through training programs, goal-setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Engage the team to maintain a productive, respectful environment and uphold brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage during peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Support adherence to company policies, inventory security, and cash handling.
• Lead selling strategies to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure visual merchandising, cleanliness, and brand presentation are maintained.
