Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants in compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage store employees, plan and implement store procedures including staffing and support.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and address gaps including disciplinary actions.
• Make recommendations on employee pay and advancement; ensure policy compliance.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; conduct meetings and safety drills.
• Open and close the store reliably, maintaining daily operational standards.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory and ordering plans to meet stock targets.
• Ensure accurate merchandising, pricing, and signage; maintain inventory integrity.
• Oversee cash handling and store security; ensure proper paperwork and cash controls.
• Deliver superior customer service and maintain a clean, secure shopping environment.
