Job summary

Famous Footwear in Orlando is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who leads in the Store Manager’s absence and drives the best shoe store experience for the whole family.

You’ll develop people, motivate a team to hit sales targets and growth goals, manage daily operations, and ensure strong customer engagement with our Famous Feeling.

This role requires a passion for shoes, hands-on coaching, and the ability to balance performance with exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with store Associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Inspire associates with integrity and drive to deliver customer relationships.
• Recruit and hire talent in partnership with Store Manager.
• Oversee daily operations: pricing, shipping, inventory, store standards.
• Drive sales by applying insights to improve results.
