Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail management experience required; store manager experience preferred.
• Experience in Sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget and loss prevention.
• Experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, training and development.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills.
• Exceptional team and collaboration skills.
• PC Skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate an environment focused on delivering exceptional consumer experiences at the retail store level.
• Translate the Carhartt story through consumer experience programs, Visual Merchandising and Visual Standards.
• Lead Associate Engagement and foster a positive team environment.
• Develop, train, and coach leaders and associates.
• Analyze local market trends, data, competition and events to inform operations.
• Develop and execute revenue-building strategies to meet or exceed store goals.
• Collaborate with internal partners to execute store controls and operating standards while ensuring profitability and safety.
• Develop external partnerships to benefit the store.
• Engage with the local community to grow brand awareness through events and volunteer opportunities.
• Implement recruitment strategies to maintain year-round staffing and build a strong candidate bench.
• Oversee individual development and professional growth.
