Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Seekonk, MA is seeking a Store Manager to lead all facets of a multi-million-dollar store, drive sales, and uphold Our Burlington values. You will mentor and coach your team, partner with store leadership, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will manage day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service, lead by example, and be accountable for store performance. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to build trusted partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policies are followed.
• Ensure team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with Merchandising leadership.
• Review receiving, transfers, RTVs, and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expenses including reporting and records.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboarding and training for new associates with ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication across store, district, and regional teams.
