Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will lead a team, coach staff, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include workforce management, merchandising execution, KPI tracking, and collaboration with the Store Manager. A strong focus on inclusivity, safety, and professional development is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide product guidance.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while maintaining service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPI improvements with the team.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing the store team.
• Plan and report on tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and product placement.
