Job summary

POP MART Americas Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Retail Sales Lead to guide a team on the sales floor, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will serve as Leader on Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is unavailable. You will coach associates, drive sales performance, and help bring POP MART's brand to life through product storytelling, merchandising, and events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, with leadership or supervisory exposure.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate others and foster a collaborative team.
• Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Serve as Leader on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates to achieve individual and store performance goals.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers by sharing POP MART's artists, characters, and exclusive collections.
• Foster an energetic, inclusive environment for customers and team members alike.
• Help achieve and exceed store sales goals and KPIs, including conversion and ATV.
• Open and close procedures while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with policies.
• Process transactions, returns, exchanges, and other POS activities.
• Support shipment processing, replenishment, stockroom organization, and cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure merchandise is available for customers.
