Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, staff supervision, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service leadership. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
• 2+ years in a retail grocery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Support store merchandising and stock presentation per manager direction.
• Contribute to inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Support in achieving in-stock targets through ordering practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership to staff and customers.
• Model company policies and SOPs in daily activities.
• Participate in opening/closing store operations.
• Help ensure cash handling integrity and deposit controls.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store environment and safe conditions.
• Assist in reviewing operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
