Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support a dynamic store team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandising, and smooth operations while developing Teammates and stepping in as Stores Manager when required.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and hands-on training across sales, guest service, and store operations, with progression from AIT to Assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations and guest services to ensure a great shopping experience.
• Assist in recruiting and training Teammates, and stand in for Store Manager when needed.
• Lead by example in sales, merchandising, and guest relations.
• Ensure adherence to loss prevention and store policies.
