Job summary

Leslie’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store performance, customer service standards, and merchandising objectives.

You will work closely with the General Manager to learn store operations and drive sales while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. The position pays $15.30–$17.30 per hour, with compensation based on education and experience, plus opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and expenses.
• Conducted water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store; may include daily bank deposits.
