Job summary

Walgreens in the United States seeks a Store Manager to supervise customer service associates and the front end of the store, with responsibilities spanning the Pharmacy and Retail Store operations. You will support the Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and oversee scheduling, merchandising, and loss prevention.

You will lead and develop store teams, recruit and coach staff, manage performance, and ensure a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program or HS diploma with supervisory experience.
Proven leadership, ethics, self-motivation and business acumen.
Completion of LEAP or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks.
English fluency (reading, writing and speaking).
Willingness to work flexible schedule and potential relocation for promotion.
Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

Supervises customer service associates and front-end and designated hitters; drive store operations.
Lead and manage store team members including recruitment, performance management and discipline.
Support Store Manager with store operations, scheduling, cash handling, and merchandising.
Develop plans to improve customer experience and store performance.
Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and safety procedures.
