Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager to supervise customer service associates and oversee front-end operations, with responsibilities spanning pharmacy and retail. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, protect assets, and ensure compliant store performance.

The role involves hiring, training, and performance management; mentoring teams; managing schedules; and using data to improve customer experience, inventory control, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Walgreens internship program or High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong communication, and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training LEAP or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of ESM start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area.
• Internal candidate: management experience across front-end and pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and front-end operations to support store performance.
• Leads hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and omni-channel store operations.
• Analyzes store performance data and drives action plans with Store Manager.
• Supports pharmacy during busy periods and coordinates with Pharmacy Operations.
