Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to supervise customer service associates and the front end, while supporting the overall operations of the Pharmacy and Retail Store. You will lead recruitment, coaching, scheduling, performance management and ensure store profitability and compliant operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing merchandising, inventory, and security, driving customer experience improvements, and partnering with the Store Manager to achieve company deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; leadership roles preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities, strong ethics, motivation and communication skills.
• Completion of Walgreens Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to relocate to a different Walgreens store location if promoted.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and store operations to achieve deliverables.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management and discipline for team members.
• Ensures proper merchandising, asset protection, and profitability.
• Supports Store Manager in scheduling, cash handling, store security, and training.
• Analyses store performance data and drives action plans for growth and efficiency.
• Oversees pharmacy and front-end inventory, price changes, and SOP adherence.
• Maintains store interior/exterior, safety, and compliance with laws and company policies.
