Kroger Co. is seeking an experienced Store Operations Leader for the Petersburg, IN location. This role supports the store manager and associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving sales, efficiency, and teamwork.

You will assist in merchandising, budgeting, and operational initiatives, and you’ll help develop leaders from within the team. The position emphasizes inclusion, safety, and a commitment to Kroger’s core values.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum requirements for this role include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in a department management or similar role.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing associates to meet customer service, operational and business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven ability to use KPIs, metrics and data to identify opportunities, solve problems and support business decisions.

Aufgaben

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and promote customer service excellence.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Communicate insights from Associate Insight surveys and develop action plans with the store team.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify opportunities and implement timely solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service and address associate/customer concerns promptly.
• Oversee total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Contribute to achieving weekly, period, and annual sales and budget targets.
