Job summary

Sandbox VR is seeking a Store Leader in California to drive store operations, guest experiences, and profitability. You’ll oversee hiring, coaching, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth daily performance and growth across the team.

You will manage hardware/software readiness, lead onboarding, and partner with leadership to achieve KPIs, bookings, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' leadership in retail operations or hospitality.
• Demonstrate egoless leadership and a collaborative approach.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on collective wins.
• Stamina to stand for long periods and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to handle basic hand tools for technical issues and repairs.
• Proficiency in retail math and data visualization using PowerBI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and drive profitability through local marketing and SCP.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and manage guest timetables for on-time experiences.
• Oversee scheduling, breaks, and day-to-day labor spend; coordinate with District Leader.
• Perform hardware/software checks, set up store schematics, and communicate issues to Tier 1 Helpdesk.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard store staff; coach and develop the team; delegate tasks to leadership.
