Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all operations in a large-format retail environment with annual sales in the $4–$10 million range depending on location.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional experiences for customers and Team Members. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and leveraging metrics to improve performance and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of leadership experience in big-box/high-volume retail.
• Leads teams of 20+ Team Members and manages $5M+ in annual revenue or budget.
• Customer-focused mindset with track record of delivering in-store experience.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical business practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all store operations to hit sales, profit, and performance goals while delivering a customer-focused experience.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build bench strength and succession plans.
• Coach and develop staff to drive continuous improvement and internal career growth.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment through planning and follow-up.
• Uphold merchandising, inventory management, safety, and customer experience standards.
• Lead staffing to align with labor models, scheduling, and payroll.
• Address team and customer concerns with urgency and professionalism.
• Use store scorecard and metrics to inform strategy and improve loyalty and credit performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where teams can grow and collaborate.
