The role focuses on execution, staffing, training, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards and store safety. This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, payroll accuracy, and end-to-end store processes to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in big‑box/high‑volume retail.
• Proven experience leading teams of 20+ Team Members and managing $5M+ annual revenue/budget.
• Knowledge of freight processes, inventory control, stock and merchandising.
• Customer-focused mindset with a track record of in-store excellence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive store operations to meet sales, profit and performance goals.
• Recruit, hire, and develop talent; build bench strength and succession plans.
• Coach and develop staff to improve performance and career growth.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll accuracy to optimize labor costs.
• Plan and supervise opening/closing, front-end processes and operational readiness.
• Direct freight, inventory, stocking and merchandising for in‑stock conditions.
• Lead customer satisfaction, safety, loss prevention, and cash handling efforts.
• Address team and customer concerns with urgency and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
